Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the way we live and work—and with it, the requirements for digital education. Preparing students, trainees, skilled workers, and managers for a future with AI requires more than just isolated initiatives: it requires a coordinated, ambitious, and, above all, rapid approach. As an AI and education expert, I would like to contribute to the fit4internet advisory board to ensure that AI competence – i.e., genuine AI literacy – becomes a basic requirement for social participation and economic success in Austria.
