In communication technologies facilitate our daily life in numerous ways, and have proven particularly invaluable during periods of social distancing. The fit4internet initiative works in close cooperation with politics, business, and society to ensure that many citizens are taught to use digital technologies competently. Digital skills will also be a key requirement in the workplace of tomorrow. Our shared objective is to teach these skills in order to secure a significant competitive advantage for Europe.
